Based in Waterloo Ontario, Gravity Works is owned by Joseph Boterman, who started his business in 1987, after twelve years prior experience in the landscaping field. For the past thirty-five years, Joe has been combining raw talent with practicing all aspects of design, natural stonework, and more recently, timberwork. In Joe’s case it isn’t only about having an affinity for working with earth, plants, stone, and wood, it is also about an appreciation for forgotten crafts and their techniques.
Supporting Joe at every step is a small, dedicated group of employees. Our small size allows us to deliver a high standard of work, with the added benefit that customers can always count on friendly one-on-one customer service. Our clients are never lost talking through a chain of command. We work with you to design a project that suits your needs, and that design experience is on the job from its beginning to its completion.
